Digitizing Small Letters

Digitizing small letters ranks as one of the top challenges for any Digitizer, regardless of experience. The key is to understand what the limitations of the sewing process are and then work within those parameters. In addition, small lettering is something best done by hand, rather than trying to use automated functions. That doesn't mean you have to digitize each stitch manually, just that you have to carefully plot each individual segment of each letter.
